Organization of sporting events in Val-d’Or

Val-d’Or is a logical hub linking Southern and Northern Quebec. Its position as the gateway to Abitibi-Témisacamingue makes it a strategic location, an unavoidable passageway for those travelling north to Baie-James or heading to Western Canada through Trans-Canada Highway.

Val-d’Or has many municipal infrastructures which have been recently renovated like the athletic runway, the Air Creebec Center, the installations of the Tennis Club and the baseball fields, entirely renovated for the Canadian Junior Baseball Championship of 2009. Our cross country ski installations also show the interest of Val-d’Or for sports. Futhermore, our numerous accommodations and scholar infrastructures will certainly satisfy your needs and meet your expectations.

During planning phase

• Provide technical and logistical assistance to the organising committee, such as looking for local suppliers that will meet your needs
• Suggest an activity program for participants or their spouses and accompanying persons
