We strongly recommend that you make your accommodation reservations such as hotels, motels, lodges, campsites or others before traveling to the region. With the labor shortage, we have many workers and professionals passing through the region, which reduces our reception capacity at various times. By booking in advance, it will facilitate your travels and make your stay more pleasant.
If you have any difficulty, our team will be happy to help you.
Over the course of a week, multiple arrivals and departures are expected throughout the region in order of creating an unforgettable experience for the 150 cyclists that take part in the event every year. Recognized by the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI), the Tour de l’Abitibi Glencore is the only one of the 9 competitions in the Coupe des nations Junior UCI circuit to take place in America. In all, it is more than 20 teams across the world that get together in the hope of completing the 7 stages, for a total of almost 700 kilometres in 6 days.
