The Val-d’Or pride festival is a sexual and gender diversity event. It was created to honour the ground gained by LGBTQ2S+ communities over the years. It’s a series of activities, events and shows, all part of a rich program that takes place over the course of four days. One of the festival’s missions is to raise public awareness about a range of different issues and to fight discrimination by organizing workshops, conferences and a community day.
