We strongly recommend that you make your accommodation reservations such as hotels, motels, lodges, campsites or others before traveling to the region. With the labor shortage, we have many workers and professionals passing through the region, which reduces our reception capacity at various times. By booking in advance, it will facilitate your travels and make your stay more pleasant.
If you have any difficulty, our team will be happy to help you.
Abitibi-Témiscamingue’s story and legend festival, the Festival de contes et légendes en Abitibi-Témiscamingue (FCLAT), is the get-together of the spring, a gathering featuring the written and spoken word in Val-d’Or and on the road to cities and the countryside in Abitibi-Témiscamingue.
The story and legend festival is a crossroads that welcomes words in any form: written, read, spoken, recited, proclaimed, declaimed, and acclaimed, chanted, sung, danced, hurled, screamed, shouted, then whispered, mumbled, murmured, breathed, stirred up, poetized, lied . . .
Again this year, the story and legend festival team invites people in Abitibi-Témiscamingue (and elsewhere) to a variety of activities offered by storytellers from around here as well as from farther afield.
You’ll miss all that if you don’t take part in Abitibi-Témiscamingue’s story and legend festival. We’re expecting you!
