We strongly recommend that you make your accommodation reservations such as hotels, motels, lodges, campsites or others before traveling to the region. With the labor shortage, we have many workers and professionals passing through the region, which reduces our reception capacity at various times. By booking in advance, it will facilitate your travels and make your stay more pleasant.
If you have any difficulty, our team will be happy to help you.
Visit Belvédère Park for a breathtaking view of Val-d’Or and the surrounding area, and an expansive green space with a substantial vertical drop.
In summer, the playground will keep children busy, while bigger ‘kids’ can practice yoga, fly kites, play catch and picnic in the green space. The Park is also home to the Rotary Tower – from its 18 metre (60 foot) height you can see mining shafts and several waterways that feed the Harricana, one of Canada’s longest rivers.
There is also a one-kilometre groomed walking trail for nature-lovers.
Or bring the whole family in the winter for a fun day of tobogganing.
